Project Conway #3 - It's alive!

By Lizzie Hodgson | 29th January 2014

We at Deeson Online are all about collaboration, creation and innovation. Which is exactly why we've teamed up with University of Kent’s TinkerSoc and School of Computing to create Project Conway. The subsequent creation (an instillation piece with a web interface) will ultimately be showcased by The Beaney House of Art and Knowledge in Canterbury.

It's a fun, interesting collaboration and has some strong educational threads running through it, including coding and art. You can read more about the background here.

The journey

So far we've got a seen how the user journey has been approached, and how, via a web and mobile interface, a user will 'create' a life cycle.

Now we're moving onto the actual hardware side - the bit that will play out the 'life cycle' as triggered via the user. And in this latest update, student Richard Lancaster shares the 'it's alive' moment... twice.

The big reveal!

Join us on March 12 at The Gulbenkian for a special Digibury when the final Project Conway creation will be presented. We also plan to have a wider discussion about the collision of art, technology and all things digital... so stay tuned!
