June Digibury: the videos

By Lizzie Hodgson | 28th June 2014

June saw the start of Digibury talks videoed in full - something that we've been working towards for a while.

It's a great way to share the talks beyond the evening itself, and we hope it will be the beginning of a Digibury talk 'library' - adding context and detail to the slides that we always publish.

Our inaugural videoed talks were given by the fantastic Emily Guille-Marrett and Hajan Memon.

Talk #1

Emily Guille-Marrett: The iTot generation - tech, reading and under 5s

Early reading expert Emily is Founder of Reading Fairy. In this talk, she focuses on the iTot generation, and the impact of the tablet on children's reading.

Talk #2:

Hajera Memon: How we created the world's first pop-up Koran storybook

Hajera Memon is Founder of Shade 7, a global, multilingual publisher. In her talk, she explains how she used crowdfunding platform Indiegogo to generate funds to support the publication of world's first Koran story book with pop ups.

Next Digibury event: July 9 at The Gulbenkian.
Special thanks to Spark Film Production for their ongoing support of Digibury.
