Introducing Deeson Online G-Cloud Alternative White Paper

In early July Deeson Online and Acquia attended Civil Service Live in London. Given our position on the G-Cloud marketplace and expertise, we went to Civil Service Live expecting specific outcomes. However, after talking to delegates we came away with a very different understanding of the G-Cloud landscape. This insight gave us the idea to write what we have called an Alternative White Paper.

It's the first White Paper - alternative or other - to be written about G-Cloud and we've created it to act as an introduction-level document outlining all that is G-Cloud and Drupal.

Entitled 'Unlock your potential and make the most of G-Cloud' it's written in a straight-forward, no nonense manner. We hope it will help those looking for the right solution and educate them in a language they understand.

When it comes to buying from G-Cloud, it's apparent that some of you are struggling to understand and identify your ICT needs, which in turn makes it difficult to know what service you need to even look for on G-Cloud. Compounding this challenge is that you're likely more comfortable and familiar with buying services in a particular way: Lengthy and expensive contracts with large companies, promising deliverables that are often spread over years, not months. We recognise this barrier. Why should you change things when you've been working in a particular way for a very long time? And even if you did want to go the G-Cloud route, how can you be sure you're going to be getting the right solution for your problem or need?
